TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A woman is facing several charges following a domestic violence incident at a Tucson apartment complex that left two people with stab wounds, according to authorities.
Tucson police said officers were called to an apartment shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.
They said an unidentified man and woman were found stabbed, and they were in listed in serious condition at a Tucson hospital.
As officers got the victims out of the apartment, police said the suspect barricaded herself inside a bedroom and set a fire inside the residence.
Police said 24-year-old Jitori Solomon-Martinez was booked into the Pima County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, arson, aggravated assault domestic violence and aggravated assault with a knife.
According to police, the man who was stabbed had a relationship with Solomon-Martinez and the woman who was injured.
It was unclear Tuesday if Solomon-Martinez has a lawyer yet who can speak on her behalf.
