So we’re past Christmas now, and you or a loved ones have unboxed lots of lovely video game consoles and gift cards. What to do now? Well, you’re going to need some fun games to play, and your favorite retailers like Amazon, Walmart, GameStop and Target have got some great deals going on. We’re talking Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, even PC — games and accessories galore are on sale right now, and we’ve highlighted a few of our faves!
Still looking for a PlayStation 5? We’ve got some advice for you there: Walmart puts aside a few systems for Walmart+ members and makes them available only via special sale. Membership is only $13 a month, or $98 a year, and you get a two-week free trial when you sign up here. But take note: In order to take advantage of the special PS5 Walmart+ member sales, you need to be out of the free trial period.

The holidays are a time of family bonding, though this year you might want to do it from a bit of a distance. Jackbox Party Pack 7 makes it easy to have fun together while apart. Anyone can play: All you need is a web browser on a phone to join in. For folks who like to draw and/or answer trivia questions, this pack is a lot of fun. The games go down pretty quickly too, so it’s easy to try them all and find your favorites. Jackbox Party Pack 7 is download-only, so the only waiting involved is the time it takes to install. Right now you can save $12 on this fun family experience — it’ll be great for New Year’s Eve celebrations!

It’s safe to say that the Mortal Kombat franchise is a classic at this point, and the recent Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate has everything gamers love about the series: Crazy, imaginative characters, thrilling moves and even silly features like “Friendship” to finish off your enemies. This version ups the stakes by adding characters from other franchises, like the Joker, Robocop and Rambo. Sounds crazy, but it’s also super fun and on sale for only $40!

Final Fantasy XII isn’t one of the more famous titles in the popular Final Fantasy series, but maybe it should be. After all, it’s got it all: a princess trying to win back her throne, ghosts, enchanted forests and even sky pirates. It’s so good that it was given a shiny remake a few years ago, one that souped up the graphics and gameplay for a modern audience. And now it’s insanely inexpensive at Walmart: down to a mere $8; that’s a whopping 84 percent discount on one of my favorite FF offerings. Maybe it will be one of your faves, too!

If you’re looking to keep your setup simple, you can’t go wrong with the G305 Lightspeed Wireless mouse. It’s a great-looking mouse that comes in a variety of brilliant shades like blue, purple and teal. As easy as it is on the eyes, it’s also easy on your hands, thanks to its sleek, ergonomic curves. It’s a great companion for Logitech’s other Lightspeed accessories, so your gamer space can be just as stylish as the rest of your home. Normally, this mouse goes for $50, but right now you can snag it in black for just $40.
This mouse has earned a ton of rave reviews at Amazon. One gamer said: “Build quality is excellent, feels sturdy, perfect weight for me (I actually welcome the couple extra grams of weight from the G-Pro, no need for those AAA – AA converters for me) I have absolutely no rattle, and the buttons feel great.”
