Local Basketball Team To Hold Sock Drive For Elem. Kids – Lewistown Sentinel

LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County boys’ basketball team will host its “Let’s sock it to them!” sock drive at the junior varsity and varsity basketball games against Milton Hershey today.

The junior varsity game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game begins at 7 p.m.

Those who wish to donate a minimum of one pair of new kids’ socks will receive free admission. All socks collected will be given to local elementary schools; the schools need kids sizes 11-3 most.

All students sitting in the student section at tipoff of the varsity game will receive a free food item from Downtown OIP at halftime.
