PC gamers pay scalpers for their GPU / huge electric bills / LED lights / chairs etc etc.
Mobile gamers pay to win. So if you just a casual.. or do not really care about winning or the best gear.. its the cheapest of them all!

I thought the rumor is gonna be a gaming Tablet with an 8 to 9 inches screen which is a perfect rival for iPad Mini. But is just another phone with a massive screen. Not worth it. I’m gonna wait for iPad Mini with 120hz screen.

You may for additional display that you’ll not use, is fragile as it isn’t structural, and rather than all the amazing sensors we had before the notch followed by the punch holes killed them :

We are stuck with only a single camera and ambient light and proximity sensors are both under the display where they are less effective and cost more.
And unlike a bezel where you can simply hide the camera using a camera privacy shutter, you can’t do much on a punch hole or a notch, even putting your finger on it will make the tactile go crazy and prevent you from doing something else.

No, this can’t be the norm, the punch hole and the notch have NOTHING to be made a standard out of, those are wonky solutions that are nice as an occasional feature but not much.
And well, there was pop-up front camera, like the Poco F2 Pro, and we almost had smartphones with no front camera at all, but haters killed them…

A gaming smartphone without an SD card is like a computer without any USB ports but only wireless options, completely stupid and unnecessary.
And a smartphone without a 3.5mm Jack is a stupid, useless and unnecessary as a car without any steering wheel but with motion detectors instead that will track your hand motion.

Some might say that “SD card are too slow”, which is only true if you buy cheap ones, but when you want to install a LOT of games, you need a lot of memory.
Playing though Bluetooth is stupid bad, between the additional power consumption, the battery time of the wireless accessory itself, the audio lag, the impossibility to use both the dongle and charge the phone at once, etc.
And of course, for a gaming smartphone, good cooling, regardless if it is passive or not, is a no-brainer.
A good fast charging that has an excellent heat management is also really important, to either quickly charge and reduce the time you need to wait between two games session, or to charge while playing without overheating.

The notch on the iPhone was actually a great design, it was just poorly implemented.
What it should have been, was a mix between a bezel and a status icon display, with no access from the main display elements.

The display was already much taller than the previous iPhone and didn’t need that extra space :

In the hardware side, it is exactly the same, there are just some software difference between the current notch and a “status bezel” implementation, the latter being much better as the bezel looks alive and less empty while still having that many sensors.
But the stupid war on bezel started.

And while those are already seriously debatable in a regular smartphone, on a gaming smartphone they are a heresy.
A slim bezel is a totally normal design choice that has no downsides compared to punch holes/notches and which should be the norm, punch holes and notches should be occasional features, not the common one, and even less the only available thing.
