The Wisconsin Badgers (24-6, 15-5 Big Ten) capped off an impressive year in league play by winning a share of the Big Ten regular season title.
It’s certainly hard to imagine Wisconsin reaching such a high level of success without the play of breakout sophomore Johnny Davis.
Earlier today, the 6-foot-5 guard was named a First-Team All-American by Sporting News.
The former La Crosse Central standout finished the year leading the Badgers in: scoring with 20.0 points per game, rebounds (8.1), and free throws made (136).
Davis is joined on the First-Team All-American list by: Ochai Agbaji (Kansas), Keegan Murray (Iowa), Kofi Cockburn (Illinois), and Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky).
