A Kamloops couple is bringing Nutters, a health food franchise, to the Tournament Capital.
Nutters Everyday Naturals is a Canadian health food company celebrating it 40th birthday this year.
Local couple Sarah and Dan Sims, have been looking to open a health food store in town for a while.
Recently, the couple secured the Nutters franchise rights for the city along with a downtown store location – on the 400 block of Seymour Street, which has formerly been home to Safeway and Value Village.
The couple said they are aiming to open their store in the coming months.
“Fixturing of the store is now underway and we are aiming to open by mid-late Spring,” Dan said.
Sarah said she’s excited to sell health products not currently available in Kamloops.
“There will be keto-friendly and gluten-free options, vegan alternatives, fresh local and organic produce, as well as a few other surprises which we will save for the opening,” she said.
Once the store is open, Nutters said it expects to employ up to 20 people who share the same passion for healthy living.
