Hello and welcome to TBEN News First. Here’s what you need to know to start your day …

Fauci says the idea of removing masks from planes “isn’t even something we should even consider”

Dr Anthony Fauci, longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Sunday that removing masks while traveling airplane is “not something we should even be considering”.

Fauci made the comments on TBEN’s This Week when responding to a question from Jonathan Karl about a vaccine warrant for domestic air travel.

“We want to make sure people keep their masks on. I think the idea of taking the masks off, in my mind, is really not something we should even consider,” Fauci said.

In a hearing before a US Senate panel on December 15, Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly said masks “do little or nothing” to fight the spread of COVID-19 in planes.

On Sunday, Fauci also reported that a vaccination warrant for domestic air travel could function as a mechanism for individuals to be vaccinated.

“A vaccine requirement for a person getting on the plane is just another level to get people to have a mechanism that would encourage them to get vaccinated; namely, you cannot get on a plane unless you are vaccinated, which is just another one of the ways to get any requirements, ”said Fauci. Mainstream media angry with daddy saying ‘let’s go Brandon’ to Biden

Media pundits spent much of the Christmas weekend berating a father who shouted “Come on Brandon” at President Biden Christmas Eve.

President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden participated in a “Santa Tracker” event with NORAD officials on Friday to speak to callers who followed Santa for Christmas. A caller who identified himself as Jared from Oregon ended his family’s call by saying “Let’s Go Brandon”, a phrase generally conceived as a disparagement against the president.

The phrase “Come on Brandon” has emerged after a reporter claimed that NASCAR fans shouting “F — Joe Biden” were actually saying “Let’s Go Brandon” in reaction to driver Brandon Brown. It has since become a media sensation to poke fun at the president and media reporters who criticize Biden’s criticisms.

Mainstream media journalists have since treated the expression as “vulgar” and “vitriolic”, going so far as compare people who use the phrase for supporters of ISIS. The pattern continued after reporters identified the man as Jared Schmeck, a former Oregon police officer who has since insisted that the sentence was done “in a pleasant way”.

In the past, there have been several cases of people publicly denigrating President Donald Trump or by shouting “F — Donald Trump” in public. Some examples of vulgarity were not only excused by the media, but promoted and celebrated. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE.

He then enlisted in the US Navy in 1958, eventually rising through the ranks of commanding officer. A FEW WORDS OF END

Rep. Maria Salazar, R-Fla. Sunday night suggested that Hispanic voters were probably starting to realize that the Democratic Party was failing to support and assist their community in its efforts to achieve the American Dream.

“We realized after thirty years that the Democratic Party was playing political football. So I told my community that you have to be with anyone who serves your values and who solves your problems,” Salazar said on “Sunday night in America”. “We come here for two things. We come because we know this is the Promised Land, we want to share these fruits. And we want to have a better economy. We want to be able to go from rags to wealth, that’s what what the American exception promises. “
